It's not.
After this morning, I can honestly vouch for the fact that exam invigilation is extremely boring. I even thought about having a go at the exam itself (2 hours) but since it was entitled: "The novel from Austen to Hardy", I didn't bother! :)

I hope you took something in to read? Perhaps Pride and Prejudice?
We're not allowed to read, Jase. We have to watch the examination room at all times. That's why it's so boring!! :(
It could perhaps be less boring if there were some attractive students - but then I'm sure that's frowned upon too... :)

You could be allowed to read AND have taken Pride and Prejudice in.
